I evaluate myself as 7/10 as a student because I did my work and just turned it in late. My goals entering this class to become a better writer, gained writing skills, and learned how to cite information from a text. And I was able to complete my goals because Ms.Nagles was able to help me become a writer because she broke down how to complete my main objectives in an essay and what to write in it. Also helped me strengthen my ability to write a topic sentence and make a stronger claim in an essay.  What I learned from this class was how to cite better and different ways to cite. Also how to find many articles, books, etc for information from the website ccny library which has 1000+ books, articles, and etc. Some great feedback I took to consider was revising and editing my essay because on my second essay I didn’t really edit or fix my mistakes and got a B. So on my third essay I took my time and edited some words. Also fixing grammatical errors in my essay. Writing skills I acquired were making a good concrete topic sentence and also a strong thesis statement/claim. Another skill was being able to write different types of essays such as a research explanatory essay or a rhetorical analysis essay which was very different from essays from high school. I’ll say I rate this class 10/10 as it made me a better student. Thanks you Ms.Nagales
